His name is Tyson Keehn, a junior at Billings Senior High.
Keehns freshman year seemed to sparked a lot of interest in extracurricular activities; especially dance.“Freshman year I went to a couple of football games and saw the dance team dance at halftime and I thought they were really cool,” Keehn stated.
Keehn started dancing at a young age. “I was I think eleven years old,” Keehn explained. Many students, including Keehn, have dreams of becoming some sort of professional dancer. From practicing at home to dancing during halftime Keehn can always be caught dancing. He keeps practicing to be the best that he can be. He uses every practice with the entire Senior Storm Dance team as a performance. So that when the performance comes he already dancing to the top of his ability.
Everyone has someone who has inspired them to do something. “Channing Tatum is my inspiration,” Keehn stated excitedly, “when I was young the first Step Up movie came out so I watched it and I just started dancing.”
When Keehn comes out to the field he's surrounded by the females of the dance team. Being the only male on the team certainly makes him a star. “It’s [the dance team] pretty welcoming. All of the girls are super nice. They don’t make fun of me and neither do the students,” explained Keehn.
Keehn is one of a kind student at Senior. He has inspired many of the young dancers who want to be on the Senior Storm next year. To show your black and orange spirit come out and support Keehn and the dance team at the Senior High football games.
